ABOUT US
We are a group of LGBTQ+ students with a shared goal of success, majoring in diverse fields but united by our passion for business. As founding members of the Pride Business Association UC Berkeley, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and dynamic community within the business world. Our interests, from finance to marketing to professional development, all tie back to our common drive to excel in business and make meaningful contributions to our industry. PBA may be new, but we are confident in our growth—not only in our personal journeys but in shaping the business community at Berkeley with our unique perspectives. Even when we are the only queer voices in the room, we are breaking boundaries, paving the way for others, and helping redefine what success looks like in business.
At Pride Business Association (PBA), we hold two general meetings a month, host social events, and collaborate with on-campus organizations to offer professional development and recruitment opportunities. More than just career-focused, PBA is a community of love and support, vital in the heteronormative business space. Each semester, we host signature events like the PBA Gala and the PBA Allyship Dinner, where we raise funds, spread awareness, and create a safe space for networking with professionals and peers. At the #1 public university, we build the strongest, most prepared business leaders, making PBA an ideal partner for employers and sponsors who value diversity and leadership.
